There is always some where new to explore in Eastern Approaches. There are not only in-depth explorations of the eastern heartlands in the Middle East and Central Asia, but Warwick continues to investigate areas where influences from east and west are juxtaposed. Further tours are planned to Southern Russia following the successes of the tours to the Land of the Golden Horde and Tatarstan. Investigations of travel in Siberia, Albania, and East Africa are also underway. The following tours are pencilled in for 2011:
- Petra and south Jordan in June: A week's in-depth focus on the Nabatean civilisation with 3 full days in Petra
- Medieval Georgia in June/July: Ancient and medieval monuments, from the High Caucasus to the Black Sea
- Tradewinds in September: Medieval trade ports and Swahili culture of the Tanzanian coast
- A Week in Aleppo in November: An in-depth look at Aleppo and the Dead Cities of North Syria, staying in a boutique hotel in the old city
- A Week in Cairo in December: A focus on Coptic and Islamic Egypt in and around Cairo
